It’s getting close to that time of year when I feel like I am making lists and shopping non-stop so today I thought I’d chirp and cheer about some of my secret weapons and inspiration. It must be the fun “equipment” that make shopping and listing my two favorite sports. I am pretty certain I am gold medal worthy in both.
Patient I am not, so to order things at market and then have to wait for them to arrive is not easy for me. I am all about instant gratification. So, I was extremely happy to receive my goodies from Suzy Jack. I had first seen this fun line at a cute paper shop in Portland. Colorful and graphic, these office accessories will add punch to any desk…home or office. I am especially smitten with the days of the week clothes pins.
In the middle of all the wedding activities around the shop this week, our shipment of russell + hazel binders arrived today and the new colors are even more wonderful than I had hoped. A rich espresso brown, regal plum, springy orchid, bling/bling gold and several fun patterns round out the new collection. Three new patterns of the rubber bands complete the look and keep everything locked and in place. In addition to the ever popular mini smartdate system, we have the big three ring binders that are great for school and for keeping track of all those loose papers that pile up around the house. I have one for each of my children. I use clear slip sheets and pocket folders so it is easy to keep dance schedules, clippings, tickets, pictures, etc. in one place. I write important dates on the inside cover which is a dry erase board. This company never fails to impress or excite me with their products. With weddings on my mind, there’s no question that russell + hazel is the perfect marriage of function and beauty.
