Santa may not need keys for his reindeer or luggage for his travels but certainly someone on your list does. Choose your ribbons and customization for something super personalized. Take it one step further with an initial charm with the lucky recipient’s name and telephone number on the back. tradeshow bootcamp

Pinch me.

That’s exactly how I felt when Katie Hunt asked me to participate in her Tradeshow Bootcamp. Katie is an amazing woman overflowing with energy. Not only is she a talented stationery designer, business owner (Kelp Stationery), a tweeter extraordinaire, a dedicated mom (a toddler and a newborn!) but also the founder of Tradeshow Bootcamp.

After she did an interview discussing some of her tradeshow tips and advice, Katie realized there was a great need for this type of information. So last spring she did her first bootcamp for designers preparing for their first tradeshow. This met with such great success that she has put together another for the fall. It will be a series of six teleconferences with some of the top peeps in the stationery business discussing topics like First Timer’s Perspectives, Booth Logistics, Products + Ordering, Marketing, Networking and Follow-up Strategies. The bootcamp starts 9/22 and runs for six consecutive weeks. You can purchase all six sessions or individual sessions on the topics of your top interest. I will be speaking with Erika Firm of Delphine on Products + Ordering (10/6).

Trust me, I was over-the-moon to be included in such an esteemed group of people who’s collective knowelege of the stationery business is incredible. But what is even more remarkable is their willingness to share their experiences and advice to help others grow and become successful. SInce opening my shop, I have realized what an amazing industry this is. I love paper but I love paper people even more.

So put your designing aside for six nights and join the conversation. Bring your questions….I am certain you will get some answers.

Follow Tradeshow Bootcamp on Twitter and Facebook.

what time is it?
